"It is good for a man not to touch a woman..."

1Cor. 7:8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

If pre-marital physical contact is sin, then so is getting married at all.

Don't like it? Argue with God, I couldn't care less what you think.

Lol. Pwned. (Yes, I know it is not the most intelligent comment, but I felt like the occasion seriously deserved such a remark.)

Hey Vince. I must admit that I am not quite sure what you are getting at here. Can you please clarify your position for your undereducated Aunt?

What I meant is that if one is going to call pre-marital physical contact sinful based on 1 Corinthians 7:1 correlated with James 4:17, then marriage at all would be just as sinful, since Paul said that it was good for people to remain celibate (1 Cor. 7:7-8).

Generally people say that touching is sin because it's good not to touch and not doing good is sin. Such a train of thought, evenly applied, also makes marriage at all sinful based on the same logic.

Now of course I'm not going to sanction rebellion or going against one's parents' wishes, but to call something sin when there is no Biblical basis for such a thing is ludicrous.
